Message	is that because FRP is weak, the Escort fascia *includes* the splash shield. This means that operations involving removing the splash shield (radiator drain...) require removing the fascia. A hassle. I can post pictures tomorrow evening. That is one reason that I used the 99 JSPEC fascia. Durability was the other one. The Escort looks a little better but not *that* much.
